Our Indian Constitution was formed on 26th January 1950 , where different rules and laws were made for the smooth running of the Nation. Later on due to the lack of code it became difficult to serve the Law at its best. In 1860 the Indian Penal Code (IPC) came into existence .
The actual draft of Indian Penal Code was drafted in 1834 and was submitted to Governor General of India Council in 183 , within the time period the draft was revised again and the final draft was passed by first Chief justice of legislative Council on 6th October 1860. The code came into existence on 1st January 1862.
