IT’S YOUR FAULT

Stand up and Speak out Against the Attackers not the Victims | by Daoud Kuttab | Medium

Thank you guys for wonderful reviews through messages, it’s very good and on-demand of the people here I am continuing the same blog, after 14-15 years of age of a girl it’s not a rape, it’s the mistake of a girl, she gives a smile to a boy that means it’s an open invitation that she wants to have sex with the guy, clap cannot be voiced with one hand, small-town villagers still have such thinking in their mind.

Still, in 21st century many girls face the lustful eyes of the people on the streets, eve-teasing, let me remind you that gives enjoyment to the person, but it lives lifetime scars on the mind and soul of the girl. Think twice even passing comments or eve-teasing is a crime. When our sister faces the same we come in anger and say that I will see that person now, then why can’t we think same, as they are also someone’s sister, daughters and wives?

First Coast Connect: Quigley House Takes Stand For Victims Rights Week | WJCT NEWS

According to National Crime Report Bureau in the year 2018, 10 rapes cases in Haryana in a day, and once again the reporters, public asked why this happen, the answer was shocking the same attitude that it happens its mistake of a girl only, in a small town, the main cause behind the rape is to blame the victim. Why??? Just because she wears tight jeans, short tops that attracts the guy. Girls uselessly roam outside the house that gives an open invitation to the boy to do anything with her.

Days before a girl was raped, when she recovered the first question raised was on her character, who has given the right to the people, to question the victim. Sorry to write even the officers do not investigate the case at deep when they come to know the accused are from high-class society and that’s where people are losing hopes in the law and justice, this is well pictured by our boll wood industry who have at least shown the guts and raised the voice through the movies.

Many villages and society still feel shame to come in front and talk over this subject as they feel that already the rape has happened and that to its mistake of their daughter and coming up for justice might take years and that will ruin their image in the society and also they don’t have enough financial status to fight for that and that’s where maximum rape cases do not get registered, instead the victim and her family are forced to live the society or the city.

People also hide all this because the society says already rape had ruined her life now the questions from the police, society and the court will ruin their entire life, this is where these devils get more freedom to do the same cases again and again. In many villages, rape is considered as a culture. They say that what is the work of the girl to move out of the house unnecessary, they get out of the house on their own and then blame the male for the same.

The only reason behind this is the mentality of the people, as they think that whatever male does is correct, female have no right to say anything, thanks to the developing cities where this mindset have changed a bit, I said only a bit, but if I see the rape cases that are reported are mostly in the metropolitan cities.

Why a girl when she steps in teenage is asked not to wear jeans, not to use mobile phones, early marriages have given more pressure in the village areas is that the child marriages are the remedies to this rape cases.

STOP blaming the outlook of the girl and her freedom, as women in the full-dress are equally raped like the women in short clothes; it’s not the clothes that give strength to these devils to rape it’s the mentality of our people who encourage them to rape.

Today girls are not equal to Boys but are much higher than them in every aspect may it be domestic work, Business, office or the social work.

Whenever this will happen, questions will be asked and the victim will be blamed. Only candle march will not help our country to become the safest country, we need to come up and speak openly on this topic and we have to teach our daughter to raise their voice rather them teaching them cooking.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BLAME A VICTIM, LAW OR JUSTICE, WHAT IS TO BE BLAMED IS THE MENTALITY. SOCIETY DOESN’T NEED A CHANGE, YOUR MIND NEEDS CHANGE
