Motherhood is beyond GENDER

 Women , men ... we people haven't come out of these all .... so how will we identify the third gender...

Transgender, hearing these what comes in your mind??

 

I know what comes in your mind..yesterday I was going through one case where a transgender “Radha “(name changed) saw a 10 month baby in a dustbin , where all the youth didn’t feel good to put hand in the dustbin & take out the baby , there she picked the baby.

As our society has a negative thoughts about this people, one of the person contacted the police saying that she has kidnapped the baby for money , even the police officer didn’t care to know the facts and arrested her, it’s very shameful.

Fortunately the case went for trail & the honest advocate fought for her and she was released as an innocent.

 

Saying the point is that they are also human being; even courts have given them legal rights and official identity. They are different from us but are part of our world only.

Let me share an inspirational story with all of you , where what that transgender person did , if I see the statistics none of us will do like that , because we fear the image in society.

 “Being a mother is a blessing , every other women  dreams to be a mother , but unfortunately many of the people due to some or the other medical reasons can’t be mother , the society considers such woman as a useless one , the women herself feels incomplete. She thinks her life is over, though technology and science have developed but that too doesn’t work for many & they start blaming destiny and self.”

Let me take you to one such journey where a woman was blamed for not being a mother, but her journey changed the prospective of many people.

 Story beings from a city of heavens Pune where a small middle class family was living called the Sawant family,  Sawant family was very happy in their life  though from middle class family .They had no big dreams the only dream that they had was to have a family where they live happily with their kids.

 

 The day came Sawant family was very happy, as Mrs. Sawant was blessed with the motherhood feeling, that every women dreams of. Afetr exactly 9 months, Mr. & MRS Sawant were blessed with a Son, at that time Mr.Sawant was very happy as every father. He distributed sweets to all and shared his happiness with the people around him.

Things were quite good in the family, but later after few months Mr.Sawant came to know that, the son Mrs.Sawant gave birth was not an ordinary child, he was a biological child (Transgender). The dreams of Mr.Sawant shattered. The love of Mr.Sawant for his child was decreasing.

 

Yes, the child is none other than Shri Gauri Sawant, a well known personality, As Mr.Sawant came to know about his biological son he started to ignore Gauri , as Gauri was dealing with criticism and the hate and ignorance instead of decrasing started growing day by day. Gauri was unable to face the circumstances, she was losing her hopes in the life, but later she decided to leave her parents home as no one there was able to understand her.

One day she left the house and also the city with just Rs.60 in her hand and she came to the city of dreams Mumbai,  as she thought may be the society will understand & accept her but as usual the perspective of the society towards these kind people is totally different, they started criticizing her at every moment.

When she came to Mumbai, she struggled a lot for survival. Gauri joined an NGO. The NGO became her family she used to work there and sell homemade pickles for survival.

 

At the age of the childhood, when anyone asked her,” beta what is your dream”? she used to answer that,”I want to become Aai”. Like every other woman she too had a dream to become Aai (Mother), but being a transgender, society started criticizing her that a transgender cannot become a woman or a mother ever. Every moment society criticized her& made her feel unwanted but she started taking this criticism as in positive way , she joint a NGO and their she was selling homemade pickles  for her daily living.

One day while she was sitting in NGO, a woman asked her for the pickle and she was shocked that, how she needs a pickle from my hand, where every other people in society did not accept her but she never took it in a negative way , she helped the lady & gave her pickle.

Later after few days, her friend came and said “AMMA do you remember that lady whom you gave pickle, she died yesterday”. Gauri replied,” I don’t remember my parents who gave me birth, how will I remember the woman whom I gave randomly a pickle”. On that her friend said,”AMMA it’s not about the woman, she has a small daughter.

 

Gauri was not able to stop herself on hearing this as she knew how the world outside is, she steps out towards the house of woman. On reaching she saw the little girl sitting in a corner of the small & smelly rooms around her were few people who were biding her.  Gauri was not able to see and handle all this Gauri on the same note stated a lie which was very necessary to save the girl, she said “her mother was to give  5L to me and so I will take the girl ."

Gauri took the girl to the NGO , where her Guru said ,” till now you were bringing a pet to the NGO and today you have brought a human baby , what is this”?

At that time Gauri was helpless as she had nothing to feed the girl so she asked her Guru,”Guruji, please feed the baby with some food, she is hungry”.

 Later at that same night she made the girl sleep next to her, but at 2pm in night, Gauri got irritated and stood up as the girl was pulling her blanket. Gauri was not habitual to share her bed with anyone, this thing made her frustrated.

After sometime the girl put her hands on Gauri’s Stomach, at that very moment Gauri understood that this is the only moment that she was waiting since childhood, the moment she realized that she can also be mother.

Yes, her name is Gayatri and she is the daughter of Gauri , from last past 8 years .

Today she is a mother, yes she is a mother.

 

Being a mother doesn’t need any uterus, it needs at all. A caring, loving and a kind heart which makes you a mother. Just see life with different prospective, there are more than 1000 orphan kids who don’t have mother in fact they don’t have parents,  go & adopt the one and complete your journey.

Motherhood is a journey that every woman dreams to experience once in the life, but if you can’t don’t lose hopes in life. Mother is a person kind by heart, full of love. The biggest gift that God has given to all the women is the golden heart full of love & sacrifices.

Respect A transgender, a mother a wife, a daughter, a women. 

Transgender people are more lovable and kind hearted people. So learn to respect them, what you and I can't do they can do.

Even our Judicial system has realised this, but when will we all.
